Peter Oosterhuis, a British golfer who won 20 tournaments around the world, played in the Ryder Cup six times and later distinguished himself as a commentator for CBS and Golf Channel, died on Thursday in Charlotte, N.C. His wife, Ruth Ann (DuClos) Oosterhuis, said that his death, at a memory care facility, was caused by complications of Alzheimer’s disease. That year, Oosterhuis (pronounced OH-ster-house) spoke to Golf Digest about his life and career. One detailed memory he still had: “In the 1973 Ryder Cup, I played Lee Trevino in one of my singles matches. Lee told his teammates, ‘If I don’t beat Oosterhuis, I’ll come in here and kiss your butts.’ Lee didn’t beat me.”

His family business, Hattori Tea Farms, situated in the Shizuoka prefecture in Japan, had been growing sencha green tea for over a century. He landed on a solution: Rather than growing regular green tea, the farm would specialize in high-quality matcha. "Big solar farms can be very disruptive because the land use is only for harnessing solar energy. While the increased amount of shade can reduce a farm's productivity, solar panels can bring benefits to the crops, too.

CNN —Billy Ray Cyrus is well past his “Achy Breaky Heart.”The 61-year-old singer and actor has announced his engagement to 34-year-old Australian singer, Firerose. “She’s the real deal,” Cyrus told People magazine. The happy news comes after his former wife, Tish Cyrus, filed for divorce from him in April after 28 years of marriage. Billy Ray Cyrus said there are no hard feelings in terms of the split from the woman with whom he shares five children: sons Trace (33) and Braison (28) and daughters Brandi (35), Miley (29) and Noah (22). He and Firerose have now released a new single, titled “Time.”“I’ve spent my life worried about things that are beyond my control,” Cyrus said.
